During my tenure as an intern, and later as an associate, for the New
Orleans based designer Elsa Brodmann, my primary accomplishments
included producing Ms. Brodmann's Fall/Winter 2009 Line Sheet,
producing and marketing the designer's Fall/Winter 2009 Lookbook, co-
coordinating the Fall/Winter 2009 Runway Show and writing articles and
photo editing for Ms Brodmann's newly launched online lifestyle
magazine. My specific responsibilities in the Line Sheet development
process included sketching the designers Fall/Winter 2009 clothing
collection, editing the sketches using computer software and creating
detailed garment descriptions. For the Fall/Winter 2009 Lookbook, my
responsibilities included assisting in the styling process for photo
shoots including clothes selection, accessorizing, and hair and makeup
ideas. Additionally, I served as the photo editor, creating and
incorporating the photo descriptions. Upon completion, I marketed the
designers Lookbook to clothing boutiques around the United States
through direct mail, online solicitation and direct contact. During
the Ottilie by Ottilie Brodmann Fall/Winter 2009 Runway Show, my
responsibilities included dressing models, clothing alterations,
organizing and managing the design and runway line for the models,
venue setup and managing the seating chart, mailing lists and invite
process. I also served as photo editor, and wrote several articles
for the new online magazine launched by Ms. Brodmann to showcase the
regional lifestyle scene in New Orleans entitled AmelieGmag.com. I
also contacted and previewed local boutiques and shops to showcase and
solicit advertising for the magazine.
Vertigo Clothing Boutique

In my role at Vertigo, I was responsible for the Opening and End-of-
Day Closing process of the boutique, directing Sales Associates,
organizing in-store sales events, managing daily commercial functions
and customer satisfaction and service. I worked with vendors and the
boutique's Proprietor to place inventory orders and co-ordinate
inventory management, pricing and the sales processes. I managed cash
and credit based accounts on the floor for the Boutique. I performed
personal wardrobe consulting, working with clients to provide garment
selection, co-ordination, fit and accessorizing based on special
events or clients individual requests. I designed and created in-
store window displays and advertising promotions, as well as, designed
and created displays for photo-shoots and style shows in order to
showcase the Boutique.

As a receptionist for the practice my daily responsibilities included
answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, organizing patient
charts, keeping the back office organized, working with pharmacists to
provide prescription orders and promoting patient satisfaction.
Academic Projects
Textile and Apparel Product Development Project
The scope of the project was to design a collection of women's
lingerie using the knowledge of design elements and principles. The
project requirements included design, garment specifications, pricing,
manufacturing, fashion research, merchandising and window display and
promotion. My design line was recognized and selected for exhibition
and public display at the Fashion Schools venue on the LSU campus.
