foodservice distribution industry. Cultivating people with proven food
distribution experience has enabled the Facility to grow in double digits and
eliminated turnover all together. The Columbus Sales Team has shown between 11%
and 13% growth for the past four consecutive years.
Managed HR Team to assure all employees relations and employees law matters were
handled properly.
Constructed a culture of a good work environment, a fun place to work and family
atmosphere while maintaining productivity and performance. This has eliminated
the turnover rate of 46% from 2003 and now turnover has consistently fallen below
3 % for the past three years. While all employees are having fun and enjoying
their job, we have collectively increased sales by 13% this past year while
setting record profit figures.
Cost Estimating and Analysis
Eliminated outside product storage saving the Facility 20K per year.
Reduced overall Headcount by 6 and restructured Day and Night Warehouse team
saving the Facility 105K per year.
Restructured Transportation Team. Reduced 9 delivery routes, two power units and
1 headcount producing a savings of 130K.
Analyzed possible acquisition in the West Virginia market. Unanimous Company
decision not to proceed after my analysis
Led the initiative to roll all of our trucks to a lease/maintenance contract and
eliminate third party logistics. Saved entire Company 110K.
