Photojournalist Search Committee
University Marketing & Public Relations
University of Northern Iowa
To the Search Committee:
With great pleasure we write a letter in praise of Molly Wade's work as a
University of Northern Iowa photographer. We have very much enjoyed
working with Molly these past couple of years. She is often the
photographer at the President's House photographing official events. And
we, of course, see her working at many events on campus.
We find Molly delightful to work with. She has such a positive, can-do
approach to requests that we make of her. She is most careful, when
appropriate, to sort of blend into the background as she moves through a
crowd to catch candid shots. Molly is always pleasant and accommodating
and performs her work with complete professionalism.
While we have always been very happy with the results that we have gotten
from Molly, we certainly know that we are not qualified to address the
professional quality of her work and leave it to others to do that.
We both just wanted to take this opportunity to recommend Molly for her
professionalism, for her always positive and pleasant attitude and for
being fun to work with. Please note that Molly did not request that we
write a reference letter for her, but we asked her if we could do this as
we think so highly of her.
Best of luck to you as you complete the difficult task of choosing the best
person for the position and for UNI.
Sincerely,
Ben and Pat Allen
