Research Experience
Clinical Research Associate, 2008, Univ. of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, Department of
Medicine, Section Hematology and Oncology. Provided temporary support to the faculty of the
Section of Hematology/Oncology within the Biological Sciences Division. Conducted clinical
research projects/studies involving various modalities of cancer treatment for oncology patients.
Research trials included multi-centered cooperative group and intergroup studies at a national
level, multi-institutional pharmaceutical trials, and multi-centered trials designed, implemented,
and coordinated in the Section.
Clinical Research Associate, 2008, Kriger Research Group, KRC International
Provided technically advanced support in the conduct, monitoring and data collection related to
clinical research projects and studies. Responsibilities included in-house monitoring and on-site
monitoring training, conducting pre-study, monitoring, close-out visits, CRF review, data entry,
query generation. These research trials included multi-centered, cooperative group, and
intergroup studies at a national level, multi-institutional pharmaceutical trials, and multi-centered
trials designed, implemented, and coordinated in the Section.
Teaching Experience
Early Childhood Tutor, 2007–2008. Tutored middle school Science and English to Hyde Park,
Chicago students. Implemented Head Start curriculum, elementary sign language and art
instruction for preschool children (ages 1-4).
Educator, Biology, 2001-2002, The Walsingham Academy, Williamsburg. Implemented college
preparatory lesson plans for the biological sciences while teaching various aspects of The
Scientific Method, principles of cellular and molecular biology, ecology, anatomy and
physiology, photosynthesis, and the scientific theories defining life origins.
