DISSERTATION: Dreams at Eventide: The Final Phase of Life as a

Transformation of Consciousness

The primary research question examines the relationship of

dreams to mature development of the elderly during the

final phase of life.

OBJECTIVE: Experienced Clinical Psychologist seeking permanent

position in which I can contribute my clinical expertise to

diagnose mental health disorders along with preparation of

treatment plans, evaluate patients utilizing personality

and cognitive assessment instruments, and human relations

work such as community outreach activities in a dynamic

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:

12/2006 - Current PRIVATE PRACTICE

Provide individual short and long-term psychotherapy to

adults, adolescents, children, and couples and family

therapy with issues including depression, anxiety, mood,

and substance-related disorders, eating disorders, pain

management, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement,

and personality disorders. Liaise closely with physicians

and psychiatrists regarding collaborative treatment.

Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy,

interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic perspective.

Expertise in computer skills and insurance billing.

Clinician, Doctoral Internship

Worked as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside

psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers. Developed and

monitored appropriate programs with colleagues regarding

treatment for individual and group therapy. Provided

individual and family therapy in outpatient adult services

unit. Conducted diagnostic intake assessments and case

management. Determined appropriate treatment modalities

and formulated treatment plans. Provided cognitive

Provided individual and support group therapy for survivors

of domestic violence. Responsible for individual treatment

plans. Coordinated with project coordinators to ensure

referrals to outside agencies for job development and legal

assistance. Handled emergency incoming crisis phone calls.

Provided individual therapy to adult survivors of domestic

violence, treating both women and men. Developed individual

treatment plans to meet emotional and psychological needs

of each client.

Conducted geriatric individual and group therapy at

retirement homes. Direct contact with county and public

departments/facilities, and private-funding sources.
