Plant Controller
Supported the Director of Operations, Materials Manager, 5 Production
Managers as well as "Shared Services" accounting department located in
Poway, CA. Point person for internal and external auditors. Oversaw
annual expense budget of $29 million.
Accurately conducted in-depth analysis of gross margins, expenses,
credits as well as freight costs, plant profit, labor efficiencies and
material variances.
. Achieved $640k annual savings in material yield by closely
monitoring standard costs in bills of material and assisting
Materials Manager in "best practices."
. Assisted Director of Operations in achieving $1.7 million in
year-over-year labor savings by providing financial data for
scheduling of optimization utilizing Indirect Labor.
