Aeroplex) Birmingham, Alabama. KC-135 stratotanker program. Depot level
maintenance, repair, and overhaul of military aircraft. General supervisor
of aircraft while also managing a team of up to 40 aircraft technicians
(most were sheet metal). Successfully achieved or surpassed expectations.
1989 - 2001. Fabricator/Assembler Structural manufacturing commercial
aircraft. The McDonnell Douglas Corporation/The Boeing Company. Melbourne,
Arkansas. Successfully achieved or surpassed all expectations. Perfect
attendance awards, outstanding performance awards. Several certifications.
Successfully completed Boeing pre-management assessment training.
Successfully assisted with problems in Long Beach, CA on other projects to
restore schedule. FAA mechanic/repairman license.
EXPERIENCE (while laid off or after hours)
2007 - 2008. Structural Installer. West Wind Technologies INC. Huntsville,
Alabama. Repair and modification of UH-60 Black Hawks, CH-47 Chinooks, AH-
64 Apaches (while laid off).
2000 - 2001. Sheet metal mechanic. Aerocell Structures INC. Hot Springs,
Arkansas. Repair of all MDC, Boeing 700 series, and Airbus Industrie
commercial aircraft. Also, successfully assisted on special projects for
Aviation Sales (parent company) at Aircraft Interior Design in Dallas,
Texas. Authorized (signed off) by the FAA to take the airframe/general
tests (while laid off).
1993 - 1994. Sheet metal mechanic. Mike Hunter Aviation. Mountain View,
Arkansas. Repair of small private aircraft and some small regional jets
(after hours/weekends).
1990 - 1991. Instructor. Ozarka Technical College. Melbourne, Arkansas.
Aircraft metal fabrication classes pertaining to structural
assemblies/components, certifications, blueprints/drawings, basic math, and
all general structural aircraft work. Trained approximately 400 students
before the program ended (after hours).
