Project Manager Dallas, TX 2007 - April 2008

. Manage all activities involved with the design and deployment of machines

for the US Postal Service. The most recent project was to manufacture

and deploy 100 machines at $300,000 apiece.

. Responsibilities included:

o Scheduling control using Work Breakdown System and CPI and SPI

indexes.

o Approve Engineering Change Orders via Configuration Control Board

meetings.

o Conduct Design Reviews both internal and with the customer.

o Provide cost input for customer driven Change Orders.

FEDERAL MOGUL

Engineering Manager Greenville, MI 1990-2000

. Managed the engineering department consisting of 6 direct reports, 9

indirect salaried and 80 hourly persons in a plant of 500.

. Key member of staff that changed a traditional style organization to a

constraint management focus involving decentralizing and downsizing.

. Directed the production of samples, which successfully established

Federal Mogul as the first domestic source of a component used internally

in an engine for Toyota Motor Company.

. Facilitated changes from broach to bore for a product improvement

including designing, building and installing new machines to a schedule

. Directed the transfer of machines, tools and prints to a plant in Mexico.

This move eliminated 60 Greenville jobs and saved over $2MM.

plant emergency response team.
