Served as Personal Security for high profile personnel; closely guarded VIPs during transport to and from
Forward Operating bases throughout Iraq. Planned security objectives prior to daily security patrols:
determined rural and urban routes, route clearance, and tactical defensive maneuvers. Briefed and de
briefed up to 70 personnel on standard security operating procedures in a secured briefing tent.
Served as a security guard at entry control points in Iraq; closely inspected ID cards prior to permitting

individuals’ entry to Forward Operating Bases. Searched vehicles using visual inspection techniques,
mirrors, and applied hands on procedures. Stopped potential threats towards Coalition Forces.
Set up 360 degree security checkpoints in urban areas in Baghdad, controlled traffic flow and order.

expertise in over watch, radio communication, search protocol, detention techniques, and escalation of
