a team of three (3) material handlers and an transportation assistant. Negotiated
rates and contracts with truckload and less than truckload (LTL) carriers and
selected those carriers based on consistency of service and rates, working
closely with company contracted logistic services. Accomplished monthly
inventory reports of finished goods and compiled cost savings projects pursuant
to transportation and warehousing activities.

Forty plus years of experience in transportation, distribution, marketing and
service enterprises, including management level positions in general and
specialized freight operations with expertise in safety regulations and truck
tariffs (bureau and individual lines issues), plus rail and barge. Developed
operational programs for surface transportation companies which included
performance flow charts and guidelines for maximum efficiency of personnel
and equipment. Tariff compilation and maintenance. Managed Federal and
State permitting, including Canadian Provinces and monitored safety programs
for compliance. Prepared and submitted applications for Common, Contract and
Brokerage Authority and performed as applicant's representative upon inquiry.
