OBJECTIVE:

I would like to gain employment in a position where I can

help others and have a sense of pride in where I work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

I have a Masters degree in Social Work from the

University of Kansas. I worked hard for two years in two very challenging

practicums to earn this degree. One of these was with Sedgwick County

Mental Health working with their day program for the mentally handicapped.

My second practicum was with Catholic Charities providing individual

counseling. While at Catholic Charities I worked once a week with kids at

Allison Elementary. I passed my licensing exam. I have volunteered over

the years to help middle and high school age kids at Rodeo Bible Camp. I

have since raised three kids that are currently enrolled in the Andover

school system (one at ACMS and two at Sunflower).

I attended Andover schools from Kindergarten to High School

EMPLOYMENT

2000-2009 Independent Sales Director, The Pampered Chef

I do in-home parties to sell Pampered Chef tools by teaching

people how to use them and how to bring their families back

to eating together. I also train and recruit a team

underneath me. I have twenty people on my team. It has been

a great experience to teach me how to work with lots of

different people.

1995-1997 Independent Counselor, The Christian Counseling Center

I worked as an independent counselor with the Counseling

Center. This means I was responsible for bringing in my own

clients. I worked with kids and adults. I dealt with eating

disorders, marital infidelity, religious abuse, etc.

1995-1997 Intake Registrar, The Legal Services

I was assigned to individuals with lower income levels that

were admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital. I took down all

their applicable information to help them apply for economic

assistance with their hospital bill.

1992-1998 Psychological Assistant to Dr. Marc Quillen

I administered psychological tests for Dr. Quillen to his

patients per his requests. I worked for him at St. Francis

and for him independently after he opened his own practice.
