I am a retired police officer as of July 31, 2005. I was a police officer

for Sequim Police Department, Sequim, Washington, for 31 years. I was a

patrol officer for 21 years and a detective for 10 years. During my tenure

as a detective I averaged about 100 cases a year and had a closure rate of

around 80%.

I have received 2 awards in high profile cases wherein I was lead

investigator. One case was a child pornography case involving a special

education school teacher and resulted in a conviction in Federal Courts.

The other was a multiple homicide involving elderly residents of an Adult

Family Care Facility. Trial, is still pending.

As a detective I helped organized the first Computer Forensics Unit on the

Washington Olympic Peninsula wherein other law enforcement agencies have

utilized this unit.

I oversaw other patrol officers and assisted them in organizing their cases

and assisted them in their investigations.

I instructed classes on Elder abuse and assisted Washington State Adult

Protective Services in organizing a Vulnerable Adult Task Force in our

area.

In addition, I have experience in various computer programs. I am versed in

MS Word, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop. I also have

experience in collision investigations, child abuse, rape investigations,

computer crimes, drug investigations, death investigations, and interview

and interrogation techniques.

I am dependable, reliable, and hardworking. I work well independently and

on a team.
