maintain and grow Westword’s presence in the market.
• Prepared promotional pieces for the street team to distribute at events to increase brand awareness and interact

• Created and updated 75% of events listed on Westword.com’s Free Stuff and Street Team pages. Responsible
for updating Westword’s social networking tools on a daily basis.
• Assisted marketing staff/street team with event set-up and breakdown, sponsorship fulfillment and execution
of third party promotional opportunities.
• Promoted and generated ticket sales for Westword’s Music Showcase signature event. Responsibilities
included ticket sales tracking, will call, distribution and collection of band and sponsor packets. The showcase
included over 9,000 attendees, 12 venues and 75 bands.
