OBJECTIVE
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the Royal and
Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, Batch 2008 with one year
experience as a Medical Technology Trainee and phlebotomist at
Veterans Memorial Medical Center Philippines. Searching for job as a
Medical Technologist in any hospitals in the United States in need of one.
An experienced phlebotomist and Medical Technologist having a one year
experience of collecting (extraction), handling, and processing blood

April 1, 2007 to April 1, 2008 Veterans Memorial Medical Center
Rotated to six sections of a hospital-based Clinical Laboratory:
April 1, 2007 to June 3, 2007 (BLOOD BANK SECTION) - Started
internship in Blood Bank section. Collected and performed cross-matches
for in-patients and dialysis out-patients. Carried out screening of donors as
well as the collection of blood for donation. Prepared different blood
components for specific needs of hospital patients.
June 4, 2007 to August 5, 2007 (BACTERIOLOGY SECTION) -
Performed routine tests like specimen collection (Blood cultures), sensitivity
tests, staining, and preparation of different culture media.
August 6, 2007 to September 30, 2007 (CLINICAL CHEMISTRY
SECTION) - Collected blood specimens for routine Chemistry tests like
glucose, electrolytes, uric acid, etc. using semi-automated machines. Has
been trained in the emergency room for collection of blood specimens in
patients.
October 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007 (HISTOPATHOLOGY SECTION) -
Received and handled specimens for histopathologic processing. Assisted an
autopsy.
December 3, 2007 to February 3, 2008 (HEMATOLOGY SECTION) -
Collected blood specimens and performed routine hematologic tests like
complete blood count and coagulation tests semi-automatically.
February 4, 2008 to March 31, 2008 (CLINICAL MICROSCOPY AND
GENERAL LABORATORY SECTION) - Dealt with different fluid
specimens specially routine urinalysis and fecalysis.
