Plant Manager

I maintained all production, safety, quality, and maintenance for an injection molding company and

was responsible for the hiring, scheduling, attendance, and discipline of its employees. I reported

directly to the CEO regarding the efficiency of molds, presses, and employees. Together we

addressed improvements, quality issues, safety, and training to help employees achieve their highest

potential. I worked with OSHA to meet and exceed environmental standards and to ensure monthly

meetings were held to inform employees of new procedures, company policies, and safety issues. I

also maintained open communications with the insurance company to avoid potential fire and safety

hazards. Administrative duties included keeping accurate records from molds, sampling, machines,

auxiliary equipment, safety reports, and msds sheets.

Shift Supervisor

I supervised as many as 25 employees per shift and assisted the Plant Manger daily in maintaining

molding parameters, interviewing applicants, and evaluating employees also, filled in as Plant

Manager when required. My responsibilities included enforcing safety policies, updating standard

operating procedures when necessary, and determining when equipment repairs were needed. I was

responsible for samples, maintaining information on new tools, automation, and scrap meetings. I

chaired monthly meeting with management, production, p.i.t, safety, and evaluation.
