Animal Medical Clinic, Receptionist – August 2009 –
Began working as a cleaner cleaning the clinic after hours. Moved up to Kennel Tech which
involved taking care of the hospitalized and boarding dogs and cats, administering
medications, documenting tasks. Moved up again to Receptionist where I now answer
phones with a multi-line system, manage the doctor’s schedules, make appointments, talk
with clients and explain things to clients as well as educating them on certain medical
information regarding their pets, assisting the doctor’s and veterinary technicians with
any tasks they need help with such as medicating or bandaging an animal.
TKKorral – Self Employment, Horse Training and Showing – October 2005 – Present
Work with clients to assess training needs. Tailor training program to achieve desired results.
Break and train horses for various uses including pleasure riding and showing. Show horses
in local and regional horse shows for clientele. Provide care for special need horses. I also
teach riding lessons to people of all ages.
