mold investigations and certified instructor. Ordering of
material, office work, accounts receivable, accounts payable,
computer graphic designs, sampling and laboratory
interpretation, remediation protocol and clearance testing.
02/2000 - 05/2000: Operations manager for Steamatic of Sacramento,
Inc.
. Duties: Schedule and supervise employees performing water
damage, smoke and fire damage clean up and build-back. Supervise
the remediation of mold and bacteria. Coordinate subcontractors
for the build-back of each project.
07/1998 - 11/1999: Oak Ridge Construction, General Contractor;
Remodel and addition of an 1100 sq.ft. add-on to a 2100 sq.ft.
existing, residential home.
. Duties: Excavation, trenching, re-bar placement, form setting,
concrete placement, rough-in plumbing and sewer, rough framing,
electrical, new 200 amp panel upgrade, finish plumbing, finish
electrical, HVAC, windows, interior and exterior doors, roofing,
windows flooring, drywall, painting, stair case and final
inspection. All work completed by self and sub contractors.
06/1994 - 07-1998: Trabil Enterprises. Inc. Position: Operations
manager for a remodel and home improvement company. Trades included
window replacement, weatherization, roofing, siding, whole house fans,
insulation, replacement doors and remodels.
. Duties: Scheduling of employees, ordering material, scheduling
jobs and scheduling inspections. Oversaw the workforce of the
company.
08/1984 - 05/1994: R & L Builders Construction Co.: General
Contractor;
Remodel of bathroom, kitchens, patios, decks, garages and additions.
. Duties: Performed framing, demolition, electrical, plumbing,
HVAC, siding, roofing, drywall, painting, flooring and finish
carpentry. Scheduling of employees and subcontractors. Change
orders and final inspection.
12/1979 - 07/1984: Sunrise Mall maintenance contractor.
. Duties included electrical, plumbing repair, painting, lighting,
flooring, commercial storefront repair, cleaning floor,
landscaping and window cleaning. Floor stripping and waxing.
04/1976 - 11/1979: United States Navy: After boot camp, attended "A"
school at NRMC San Diego, Ca. Graduated with a degree in health care
science.
. Duties included all ward duties, blood draw, patient care,
medication administering, I.V. placement; assist Dr's in minor
surgery and patient admission and discharges. Later promoted to
assistant hospital corps coordinator where duties included
scheduling, corpsmen. I worked directly under an Admiral, two
captains and one commander. I was honorably discharge with
honors and accommodations in November 1979.
10/1971-11/1975: The Handyman, Inc: Retail Home Improvement Store
. Plumbing department head, then building materials manager, then
nursery manager, then warehouse manager, then manager trainee,
then assistant store manager. Experienced in propane and
electric forklift and pallet jacks.
EDUCATION:
Foothill Senior High School: 1969 - 1971. I was enrolled in general
studies with two majors. One was in music and the other in physical
education. I graduated in 06/1971 with a GPA of 3.8.
NRMC San Diego, Ca: 1977 - 1978. I received a certificate of
completion in health sciences and patient care. I received
certification for EMT and Paramedic in 1978. I graduated with honors
with a 3.8 GPA.
American Indoor Air Quality Council: 2002-2003: I achieved
Certification as a Mold Inspector.
Indoor Environmental Standards Organization: 2003-2004: I achieved
Certification as a Mold Instructor.
Colorado Technical University: 2010 - Present: Studying for my BS in
computer IT.
HOBBIES:
Walking in the forest, along the shore line, camping, fishing, hiking,
boating, woodworking, playing music, gardening, cooking and reading
novels.
