Die-Cut Foam, E-Coating, Powder Coating, and Secondary
Processes, line balancing, manning levels, job descriptions,

improvements Cost Reductions. Also achieved success in the
implementation and operation of Lean Manufacturing, Flexible
Manufacturing, Employee Involvement, JIT and Continuous
Improvement. Transformation of traditional manufacturing to
lean methods.
Quality: Training and implementation for Quality including SPC
data acquisition in Medical Devices and Automotive Supply
manufacturing. Analysis of non-conforming parts. Data
analysis for root cause analysis and product improvement.
Yield and 'ad hoc' reports for quality improvement. Internal
Auditor for ISO 9001/2000. Process and receiving inspector.
Prototype Automotive parts qualification and approvals through
Job 1. Program management liaison with GM and Ford.
Application of Six Sigma principles, Root Cause Analysis,
FMEA, 8D, VAVE, and a variety of automotive and medical
documents and procedures.
Teaching:
Training and teaching: Community College Faculty instructor
for degree program in Plastics Technology. Developed and
taught 6 courses in Polymers. Managed Plastics lab and
prototyping for manufacturers. On site contract employee
training. NSF grant program for high school students.
