Financial Operations Manager 2007 to present

Report to CFO and directly responsible for the overall administration,

direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Financial Operation

Department in the United States which include: accounts receivable and

payable, order to cash, intercompany activity for twelve foreign

subsidiaries, treasury management in multi currencies, year and month end

close, external audits, fixed assets; special projects; interpret concepts

and implement financial processes for planning and control. Serve on the

management team and oversee up to six direct reports.

o Decreased accounts receivable DSO by 30 days resulting in

increased cash flow.

o Implemented staffing back up process increasing flexibility in

job task and employee moral.

o Developed and implemented a process for credit memos, bad debt

reserve and write off which lead to cost savings by a decrease

in the time needed for external auditors to audit the order to

cash and accounts receivable process.

o Developed and implemented a global cash flow and intercompany

settlement process which lead to less usage of the line of

credit through better cash management.

o Managed multicurrency bank accounts which allowed for gains to

be made on market fluctuations and losses to be adverted by

paying invoices in local currency.

o Handled the changing of banks which included opening of

accounts, system implementation, lock box change for accounts

receivable remittance and line of credit. This change was made

while doing year end close.

o Met with vendors to increase accounts payable payment terms

leading to better cash flow and less usage of the line of

credit.

o Worked with Legal to develop and implement a process for

handling all aspects of sales tax for proper tax compliance.
