PROFILE

I am a very outgoing, dedicated, and hardworking individual who has the mindset to

exceed in any situation. Although most of my work experience is in Customer Service

area, I am always up for a challenge, especially when it involves career advancement,

which can entail learning a new industry. I work very well with others, but also have

the self-motivation to work efficiently on my own. I am seeking a position where I can

showcase my skills along with growing with the company.

EXPERIENCE

February 2008- present

Worker’s Compensation Claims Adjuster for ACA (Montgomery, AL)

As a claims adjuster, I handle claims for both Georgia and Mississippi. This involves

being up to date on all the laws and restrictions of each state, as each state has different

rules and regulations. I manage my cases and make sure that the injured worker seeks

approved medical treatment for a compensable claim. If something is not approved or not

work related, I will also handle the denial of that billing or medical care. I stay up to date

on the injured worker’s medical treatment and review their medical records so that I can

handle the approval of any suggested surgeries, physical therapy, or any additional

medical needs. If a injured worker has been out of work, I review and enter payments for

them to be compensated for their time lost from work. I monitor for their medical billing

and notes and then review to make sure it coordinates with their reported injury. If

approved, I will then send that billing for payment. I also handle claims in litigation that

require attorney involvement. I also delegate tasks to my assistant to make sure all my

claims stay up to date such as completing and filing of necessary state board forms. I am

a certified CWCP in both Alabama and Georgia.

August 2007 - February 2008

Concierge for Wynlakes Golf & Country Club ( Montgomery, AL )

As a Concierge, I operate the main switchboard, greet members as they come in the front

entrance, take reservations for special events, and provide directions to

different events or areas at the club. I also answer general questions about the

different events in the upcoming month or current newsletter.

February 2006 - May 2007

Sales Associate for Bellsouth ( Pensacola, FL )

As a sales associate, I answered customer's billing questions, gave occasional bill

adjustments, redirected any misdirected calls, explained our current promotions, and

checked available services. I developed excellent computer skills being able to maneuver

through several computer programs at once customizing the perfect Answers Bundle

including our local services, long distance, internet, Directv, and even Cingular services

for each customer. Paying close attention to the customer and their needs

allowed me to ensure I provided them with excellent customer service and helped to

maintain their longevity with Bellsouth.

January 2005 - December 2005

Server for Texas Steakhouse & Saloon ( Morehead City, NC )

As a server, I helped to make the customer's dining experience a pleasant one. First, I

would greet them, take their food and drink order, and then read it back to make sure I

had it correct. I always ensured food was prepared to the customer's expectations and

brought for them to enjoy in a timely manner. Being a server involved cash handling, data

entry into a computer, and maintaining side work to ensure each shift ran smoothly.

May 2002 - December 2005

Shift-Leader for Pizza Pro ( Brewton, AL )

As a shift-leader, I was very well rounded. I opened the store for business, input food

orders into the computer, prepared food, washed dishes, delivered pizzas,

and watched over other employees to ensure a shift ran smoothly. Each shift I made sure

all food preparations were stocked such as making dough, cutting vegetables, and

thawing meat. I often trained new employees, making sure they knew how to make each

menu item and how to perform other tasks they maybe required to do.

EDUCATION

1999 - 2004

High School Diploma

TR Miller High School, Brewton, AL

I was a member of the National Honor Society, a part of the Yearbook Staff, tutored

Elementary children through a program called, "Tiger Buddies", received an Academic

scholarship upon graduation to Jefferson Davis Community College and maintained a 3.5

GPA.

SKILL

I am very knowledgeable about computers being able to

operate several programs such as, Microsoft Word,

Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook. I can use common office

equipment like a fax machine, copier, or even a multi-lined

telephone system. An ever-changing workplace

does not scare me, I like the fast pace and constant learning.
