Methodologies: Technical proficiency and theoretical application of

utilizing GC/MS, dHPLC,

Real-time PCR, Tissue Culture, DNA & RNA Extraction, as well as Rapid

high-volume Blood and serum processing and sample accessioning, all to

strict GLP & GMP compliance, respectively.

Equipment Utilized: Robotic workstations: QIAGEN BioRobot 9604 &

Beckman BIOMEK 2000; Mass Spectrometers, Thermal Cyclers, UV

Laboratory Techniques Applied:

. Maintaining quality control of laboratory testing to ensure

accurate and timely lab reporting while performing statistical

analysis & exhaustive database management.

. Conducting sample analysis of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in

groundwater, and soil, by sonification and separatory funnels

necessary for mass spectrometer analysis.

. Analyzing sample chemical matrix to determine (ppm) % utilizing

GC/MS and dHPLC.

. Consistently performing accurate calculations vital to developing

final formulations.

. Performing routine calibration and maintenance of ancillary

analytical equipment.

Research & Analysis Utilized:

. Cross-contamination free pipetting vital to performing real-time

PCR in determining polymorphisms as biomarkers for prostate and

breast carcinogenesis, respectively.

. Conducting DNA & RNA isolation, extraction, purification &

amplification for qtPCR.

. Performing Tissue culture methods in sustaining 8 cancer cell

lines, to strict protocol.

. Utilizing fluorescent microscopy necessary for image analysis of

DNA damage and repair, in determining dose response of DNA

apoptosis by chemotherapeutic drugs.

. Assisting in Gene Expression arrays essential to RNA analysis &

Assay reproducibility.
