Scuba Department Department Head/Associate/Instructor

Coordinate and direct the day to day operations of the Scuba

Department. Schedule scuba classes and direct Instructor

activities. Receive product, conduct stock analysis and make

recommendations to Management for new products as well as

elimination of current non-selling products. Assist customers

with scuba equipment purchases, counsel non-divers on classes

and initial equipment purchases. Conduct the Discover Scuba

Diving experience; teach Open Water Diver class and additional

Responsible for selection processes of LP Team, trained team on

operation of ExpressionsID system, coordinated distribution of

ID Cards for hotel employees and vendors during final phase of

facility opening, coordination with local Police Department for

off duty police presence, coordinate advanced training. Other

duties include staff scheduling, payroll, receiving packages and

shipments from vendors and suppliers, escorting VIP's and

provide crowd control.

Responsible for the security of a Four Diamond, 180 room and 105

residence resort facility. Other responsibilities include

managing day-to-day operations of the department, staff

scheduling, payroll editing, purchasing, accounts payable,

maintaining documentation as required, staff certifications,

investigations, claims reporting, annual hurricane preparation

and identifying and resolving unsafe work practices.

Responsible for leading certified divers on guided tours of

various dive sites, teaching The Discover Scuba Diving

experience and other PADI scuba diving classes as requested.

Detective

Responsibilities included auditing work logs and pay records for

civilian employees, researched and processed vehicle impound

information and records. Tracked low priority calls for

service, contacted citizens regarding their calls for service

and assisted radio dispatchers and communication supervisors

during crisis events. Researched, tested and made purchase

recommendations to the Project Manager for proper dispersal of

$1.3 million dollars for communications equipment and

accessories. Assisted with system installation and testing,

conducted personnel training on new systems and created

extensive database to track inventories of equipment distributed

to 2000 public safety employees.

Responsible for responding to calls for service and complaints,

patrolled a designated area of the city to prevent, discover and

deter crime, enforced criminal law and motor vehicle operation

laws and parking regulations, conducted investigations, made

education contacts with the general public and wrote detailed

reports on police related activities.
