I am a very reliable and dedicated employee. I am a very hard worker and able to work

well within a team but also by myself if needed. I have developed the ability to work in a

fast paced atmosphere. I have the ability to follow instructions well and make decisions

with no supervision. I am able to use Word, Outlook, Medmaster, Eclinical Works, and also

Dentrix. I have experience in filing, answering telephones, faxing, scheduling and

confirming appointments, referring patients to other physicians, and also doing end of day

and end of month procedures. I know that as the receptionist you are the first person the

patient sees when he/ she comes in and you must show the patient how the rest of the office

represents itself.

(November 2006 - May 2007) Wal Mart

Sales Clerk and Cashier. While working at Wal Mart I made sure that my area was clean

and organized; I was also responsible for taking care of the customer’s complaints.

(August 2004 – September 2006) Dr. Jon Burdzy

File clerk/ Receptionist. While working for Dr. Burdzy my job entailed scheduling and

rescheduling appointments, collecting co pays, answering phones, faxing referrals, and

filing charts. Also while working here I helped convert all paper charts to our new

paperless system.

(November 2007 – October 2010) Affordable Dentures

Dental Receptionist. This position is responsible for checking patients in and out,

answering telephones with a smile and answer all questions to the best of my ability. I do

end of day procedures and am in charge of taking the daily deposits to the bank. Also while

being at this job I have had the opportunity to learn a few dental assisting details.
