Experienced die setter with 8 years experience in various aspects of factory operations to include the usage of a manual

crane, leveler, press, dies, templates, roll formers and the set-up and operation of slitter passes. Experienced in safe use

Die Setter/Machine Operator

• Made individual schedules of job orders to be completed and set machine to make parts according to blue print

specifications. Was reviewed by Foreman and Quality Assurance Inspectors.

• Loaded material on reels, set up presses to punch the correct holes and notches, adjusted table to align with roll

former for shaping of the material, set roll former to make correct part, fed material thru leveler to adjust the

straightness of the material and fed thru press to start running parts.

• Worked with company computer to adjust lengths of parts on individual machines to let the photo eye in the press

know when to cycle and cut part.

• Used material handling equipment such as forklifts, work savers, and pallet jacks in a safe manner.

• Used proper procedures relating to Lock-out, Tag-out tags when machine is being set up for next part run, when

machine has mechanical issues and when the machine is not in use.

• Followed OSHA regulations for safe work environments that were given to us in company training videos, with the

proper wear and what safety equipment should be worn.

• Used HAZMAT procedures to prevent and clean spills by using soak mats, socks and soak dry.

• Worked with a team of 13 members to complete various part orders with different types of machines ranging from

narrow lines to wide lines.

Training Manager

• Trained personnel on the safe use of material handling equipment by using the proper procedures to operate

and maintain the level of maintenance on the equipment according to its manual and the company

regulations.
