02/2010- Present Bryn Mawr College Public Safety CORPORAL: All Aspects of Public Safety:

Supervises the staff assigned to a particular shift; to ensure that Officers perform duties in a

professional manner:

Performs supervisory related duties requiring use of discretion and independent judgment; assigns

work, coordinates work flow. Assists the Director in Hiring, Discipline, and training. Responds to

calls from dispatch re: Investigate suspicious activities, break up disturbances, obtain vital

information on unlawful acts committed on campus, responds to security alarms on campus.

Conducts mobile and foot patrols of 130 acre campus. Provides medical transportation on

Control of Inmates. Patrol assigned area of Institution, Supervise inmates, detect and deter or

prevent disturbances. Escort inmates thru the institution, assist in maintaining order, and enforce

rules and regulations. Stand watch to prevent escape, and regulate admission of visitors into the

facility. Operate security control center, regulating movement in the institution, maintain

telephone, PA and electronic communication, and maintains current records of inmate population,

and there whereabouts. Operate automotive equipment, transporting inmates, and patrolling

06/07-09/07 Security Director of Summer Camp: Director of Security for a 32 acre day/night

camp located in Jamison Pa. I handled all security related duties, in keeping day and night

campers as well as counselors in a safe and secure environment. I safely secured all over night

campers as well as counselors, and handled all emergencies as they arouse to ensure proper first

aide, and well being of staff, and children.

08/07-Present LEO Protection Security Supervisor Contracted by Lion’s Gate Films to secure

Movie Screenings against Video Piracy, Supervise 5-10 Officers, open and seal new movies for

premiers, check ID’s, and associated press passes, work with Night Vision Goggles, Security

Metal Detectors, and watch for video piracy.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning and Preparations for Staff Safety

- Develop contextual understanding of the areas of operations guided by the Director, Operations)

and in consultation with program staff, HQ Security Unit, other NGOs and security agencies as

required

- Monitor proper implementation of the Safety and Security Management Plan

- Assist staff in preparing for major events and critical incidents where safety is concerned

- Organize and facilitate safety awareness training for staff members

- Select and train safety focal points of program teams, guard services, etc.

members are residing

- Ensure effective communications and equipment are properly used following international

- Monitor that security and safety protocols are followed and respected by all staff members

especially with regard to travel, medical and personal safety.

3. Critical Incidents

- Provide updated information on security and safety situation to the Director, Operations and

monitor closely any potential risk to the staff, volunteers or assets.
