02/2010- Present Bryn Mawr College Public Safety CORPORAL: All Aspects of Public Safety:
Supervises the staff assigned to a particular shift; to ensure that Officers perform duties in a
professional manner:
Performs supervisory related duties requiring use of discretion and independent judgment; assigns
work, coordinates work flow. Assists the Director in Hiring, Discipline, and training. Responds to
calls from dispatch re: Investigate suspicious activities, break up disturbances, obtain vital
information on unlawful acts committed on campus, responds to security alarms on campus.
Conducts mobile and foot patrols of 130 acre campus. Provides medical transportation on
emergency and out patient basis. Completes incident reports in a clear, concise, and professional

Control of Inmates. Patrol assigned area of Institution, Supervise inmates, detect and deter or
prevent disturbances. Escort inmates thru the institution, assist in maintaining order, and enforce
rules and regulations. Stand watch to prevent escape, and regulate admission of visitors into the
facility. Operate security control center, regulating movement in the institution, maintain
telephone, PA and electronic communication, and maintains current records of inmate population,
and there whereabouts. Operate automotive equipment, transporting inmates, and patrolling

Movie Screenings against Video Piracy, Supervise 5-10 Officers, open and seal new movies for

Responsibilities include:
1. Planning and Preparations for Staff Safety
- Develop contextual understanding of the areas of operations guided by the Director, Operations)
and in consultation with program staff, HQ Security Unit, other NGOs and security agencies as
required

- Assist staff in preparing for major events and critical incidents where safety is concerned
- Organize and facilitate safety awareness training for staff members
