For the last * years I have worked for a Fortune *00 Automotive
manufacturer as a financial analyst with a concentration on worldwide
revenue forecasting. The major functions in that job were to collection
data from several large data sources, organize it into reports and tools
for managers worldwide, and summarize the results into management
reports. I have also authored web sites and SharePoint sites to publish
and collect this kind of work.
I believe I can demonstrate success in this kind of assignment.
I have done accounting management, forecasting, & financial problem
resolution for over 20 years. In addition, I wrote and conducted many 1-
day seminars on these topics for practitioners and controllers at the
Indiana CPA Society. Please notice two very relevant details in my
resume:
1) I am one of a very few CPAs who has earned the Certified Information
Technology Professional designation. We specialize in using
automation for business processes. I have verifiable expertise in
applying technology to business processes and the ability to teach
others how to use it. I have expert skills with the most common user
tools of accountants (Excel, Access, SQL, etc). If you have CPAs on
your staff, they may know me from the seminars I have presented on
these topics.
2) I have experienced significant successes (and some failures) with real-
world financial situations with both large and small business in
several different industries. That experience has given me
perspective in a wide range of business issues.
I was recently idled by the GM bankruptcy and am anxious to get back to
work.
