Awakening from a Distant Dream:

This is a story about Laura. Laura was born with a sensitive spirit. As an adolescent, she is

plagued by feelings of uncertainty and confusion about her relationship with her family and

friends, but, most importantly, her personal identity and place in the social order of things. As

events unfold, circumstances propel her into situations where she is forced to make some

momentous decisions that will help her eventually come to terms with her own nature. Laura

ultimately discovers her true calling in life and the artist she was destined to be. This singular

existence illustrates the challenges that shape the depth and unique character of the self.

The Surprising Latitude of Fate:

The Surprising Latitude of Fate is a novel that follows the life of an Italian immigrant (Carmelo

Visconti) as he attempts to navigate his way through the intricacies of the American culture. He

is catapulted from village life in a small town on the Adriatic to the frenetic pace and lifestyle that

comes with living in New York. His innate sense of adventure together with his burgeoning

loneliness leads him on a path that he would come to regret. Carmelo is exposed to the darker

elements of his psyche that he was previously unaware of, especially his more violent nature.

The inevitable consequences of his behavior bring him to a precipice that could result in his

destruction. It is essentially the story of personal redemption.

At the Fringes of Experience:

This collection of novellas deals with the larger issues of the human condition. Bronx Memories

represents the author’s own personal journey as a young boy. Nathaniel Hastings is a kind of

modern day odyssey, in which the protagonist navigates through life from very bizarre

beginnings. The stories, Bradley Stimpson and Marie, The Strange Diaries of Jeremy Flood and

Benjamin’s Magic Bullet take place in some future time and explore various aspects of

contemporary human society. Lastly, No Time for Retribution is a work that examines the modern

world as seen through the eyes of a person dealing with madness.

America and the Mythology of Greatness:

This well researched book examines the myths about America and its moral position in the

world. The myths enumerated include the myth of equal justice and the myth of America as the

so-called “world policeman.” The premise of this work is that a belief in these myths distorts the

truth and impedes real social progress. Alternatives are suggested that are more in keeping with a

truly free and democratic society.

Impaled on Time’s Illustrious Arrow:

This collection of poetry (over 150 poems) covers a wide range of thoughts, reflections and

experience. Poetry to me is a succinct medium through which the many layers, and often elusive,

textures of emotions can best be expressed.

The Illusive Quality of Existence:

This collection of poetry (some 200 poems) is a collection of more recent work and includes what

the author refers to as picture poems, i.e. poems that include color images from original art and

photographs.

The Human Equation:

This collection of short stories (335 pages) encompasses a wide range of genres including literary,

fantasy, science fiction, mystery and humor. This work is available at Lulu.com .

A Particular Passing Through Time:

This novel begins with Anthony on his death bed and follows him through the odyssey of his life

through the wealth of his memories. This work is available at Lulu.com .
