First Class Substations Mechanic
Performed installation and maintenance of substations throughout
New Jersey. Installation of new substations, transformers,
switchgear, oil, vacuum, gas, and air breakers, cap banks, and
station service from start of laying out by prints to concrete,
conduit, final inspection and energizing. Worked many storm
restorations of house services and downed wires with bucket
trucks and ladders to bring customers back to the system. Have
welding (stick and mig), burning (torch, air arc, plasma
cutting), and hot stick experience. Worked with crews to
install, test, and inspect transformers and mobile transformers.
Have been on a call sheet since 1982 and followed all the
preferred practices, safety, union rules, and switching and
tagging that Jersey Central Power & Light Co. has used while
working in the company.
Started out in Gilbert Station and Oyster Creek Nuclear plant
working as a mobile mechanic overseeing 7 to 10 mechanics and
responsible for maintenance of turbines, pumps, generators,
inspections and rebuild of facilities equipment including
underground sewers, fire hydrants, gas lines, maintaining roads,
driveways, mowing grass, painting.

Property Maintenance
Started out in production and moved to property maintenance of
the factories and homes of the Martin Guitar organization.
Worked on welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, installing
window, doors, rooms, garages, parking lots, roofing, mowing,
