SUMMARY
I have always been interested in working with children. For 23 years I
owned and operated an educational based day care program for children ages
0-12 years old. As I entered my tenth year I included a latch key program
for single, low wage moms so that they would have a safe place for their
children before and after school. I understand children and love to be
around them. I have excellent people skills. I am a hard worker, very
responsible, reliable, and faithful to the workplace and my
Co-workers. I am very flexible, can handle any situation efficiently. I
have worked in the Flint School system for 11 years as a school volunteer
working with children that have special needs. I have worked in recruiting
families for the school system that I have most recently been employed
with, because I believe an early enjoyable start to a child's education is
important for the successful educational journey that they are embarking
on.
WORK HISTORY
1999-2010 Flint Educational Management, LLC (International Academy
of Flint)
2820 S. Saginaw Street, Flint, MI 48503 810-***-****
I have been working with the Sabis Corporation for the last 11 years and
have been lucky enough to have experienced working in several different
areas. Below you will see the different work experience that I have had
the joy to achieve. I have learned a new way of educating children that
has blown me away with its academic success. I started with IAF before the
doors opened and have seen the caliber of students that have graduated. It
has made me very proud to have been a small part of that growth and
success. I look forward to, again, starting a new adventure with a new
school.
K-6 Front Office Receptionist, 2008-2010
Once I came back to the main school I began working at the front desk

still help with the nursing duties, but only when needed, I accessed the
Sabis Student Management System for items needed by parents, students, and
staff, I did the lamination for the whole school, not just the few that
were at the Annex, I worked closely with the parents to ensure they know
that their children are safe and they have the information important to
them, I was on the Crisis Team where I was responsible for my part of the
emergency drills and evacuation plans, I worked closely with the staff
because they are already doing one of the hardest jobs at the school and,
I feel, they need someone on the team that will do the small things that
make their lives easier.
