4. Planned, coordinated and executed a major Freudenberg Business Unit
shutdown while complying with Local, State and Federal legal requirements
5. For the largest fabric/craft specialty retailer, Jo-Ann Stores, Inc.,
successfully spearheaded the human resource management in start-up of
700,000 s.f. Distribution center in Opelika, AL. Designed recruitment
strategy and recruited all levels to include executive level managment
team to hourly employees.
6. For the nation's 2nd largest merchandiser, Target Corporation, the
Distribution Center's project manager for implementation of Human
Resources Information System that facilitates the payroll, staffing and
reporting of all human resource information for 700 teammates locally.
This system provided cost savings in man-hours for Human Resource
department and operations executives within the Regional Distribution
Center. This is the interim HRIS process to new Peoplesoft (MAX)
implementation in the Summer 2005.
7. Project leader that redesigned and streamlined the staffing/recruiting
process at the Regional Distribution Center to successfully screen,
interview, and hire over 200 regular and seasonal teammates within 90
days to cover peak season needs during the Fall 2004 retail season.
