Palmetto Citizens Against Sexual Assault (1992-2004)

Served as a Volunteer Counselor to assist victims of sexual assault. If asked, volunteer counselors report to the

emergency room to gather information concerning the assault to assist police and/or legal counsel concerning victim’s

case. Volunteer Counselors also attend the victim during the process of the collection of sexual assault evidence

whether it is to hold their hand or just sit quietly while evidence is collected, serves as the victims advocate during

entire process from emergency room visit to court proceedings if necessary.

Blue Star Mothers of America (2007-Present)

Blue Star Mothers of America is a non-profit (501[c]3) veterans service organization comprised of mothers who

now have or have had children honorably serving in the military. Served as Treasurer for Maryland Chapter 1 from

2009-2010, participated in fundraisers for care package contents and postage, supporting fellow members whose

children are deployed to a war zone, promoting patriotism representing Maryland Chapter, and assisted various other

Veterans Service Organizations when requested.

Ordered, received, and verified all shipments into inventory, created various weekly reports for CEO as needed, served

as customer service back up as needed, also served as assistant office manager.

Chester County Hospital Materials Manager (September 1986 – July 2004)

Began as secretary responsible for all dept. clerical work, worked as Purchasing Agent with buying responsibilities,

and served as dept. head from 1999 – 2004 responsible for a staff of 4 clerks.

Richard P. Hughes, MD PA Executive Assistant (Oct. 1988 – July 2004) part time 2nd job

Bookkeeping duties, clerical and correspondence, assisted staffing as many as three Emergency Departments with 24/7

Physicians, Physicians Payroll, quarterly reports, assisted with arranging and performing Occupational Medicine

physicals for several local industries and rural volunteer fire departments and EMS dept., collected and processed drug

screens according to established protocol.
