I w ork as an experienced general laborer on different construction projects
t hrough Local #366. I have worked at the following TVA sites: Brownsferry
N uclear Plant, Sequioh Nuclear Plant, Colbert Steam Plant, and Bear Creek
D am. I have worked at the following Alabama Power sites: Gorgas Steam
P lant and Miller Steam Plant. The tools I have used in performance of my
j ob are hand grinders, picks, shovels, brooms, jackhammers, chipping guns,
p ry bars, wrecking bars, concrete saws, and concrete and soil packers. I
h ave used chainfalls, slings, cumalongs, and chains in the moving and
l ifting of materials. I have worked on the inside and outside clean-up crews
a t different plants. I have been certified in confined space entry, firewatch,
o sha10, foreign material exclusion, concrete certification and TVA affected
e mployee training. I am certified forklift operator.
2 008-2009 Pipe Casting Technician

I w orked as a pipe casting technician which required every employee
t o be trained on different jobs in the plant. I was certified to operate
o verhead cranes with weight limits from five tons to forty tons. I was
a lso certified to drive and operate forklifts, bobcats, front-end loaders
a nd a track mobile to bring molten iron from our supplier plant. I was
c ertified in the lock-out, tag-out procedures to perform changeovers
a nd maintenance work on different machines. I was a test press operator
a nd an inspector on the pipe-run line. I worked in shipping as a loader.
2 005-2008 Assembler& Labor Pool Technician
P eterbuilt
I w orked as an assembly and labor pool technician at Peterbuilt.
T he position required me to work in all areas of the plant. I worked in the
w elding shop doing spot welds on axles. I also operated torches for burning
a nd cutting metal on the frame of the truck. I worked in final assembly,
w here I installed various components on the vehicle to complete the truck
f or roll off. I also worked in the paint prep area sanding cabs and sealing
t hem for paint.
1 997-2005 Tire Builder, Tread Handler, Injection machine operator
G oodyear Tire and Rubber (Dunlop Tire)
A s a tire builder I assembled together various components such
a s steel breaker, jointlessband, edgeband and tread rubber to
p roduce a green tire for the tire press department. As a tread-
h andler I was responsible for proper wind-up and booking of treads,
i nspection of treads and entering of proper data into the computer.
I a lso operated rubber injection molding machines and worked as a
b andbury servicer and forklift operator.

I w orked in the warehouse and operated wire-guided forklifts,
s it-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. I used
s canners to unload product to restock warehouse and to pick loads
t o fill orders for other warehouses and customers. I also laid out
l oads by weight and loaded semi-trailers.

a s tinger missile gunner. I also worked in the motor pool
s ervicing vehicles and other army equipment.
