Professional Experience
. Successfully and safely worked on, managed, and reported on industrial
mineral (borates, potash, talc, vermiculite, fluorspar, glass sand,
and clays), metal (gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper, and molybdenum)
and coal exploration programs in the Western U.S. and Canada for over
30 years.
. Supervised teams of 3 to 12 responsible for the drilling, logging, and
sampling of over 250 drill holes. Maintained budgets, contracted
services, acquired appropriate permits and government authorizations.
Responsible for discovery of three mineral deposits.
. Supervised onsite the drilling, completion, and testing of 29
monitoring wells in support of a hydrologic evaluation of tailings
ponds and solid waste assessment at the U.S. Borax mining operations
at Boron, CA.
. Led or closely involved with geological investigations for due
diligence preceding the acquisition of talc, limestone, glass sand,
and specialty clay companies or properties.
. Directly involved in the patent application process for mining claims
in California and Alaska.
. Conducted land research and compiled data for property ownership
determinations.
. Successfully and safely made exploration related trips to China (8),
Tibet (2), Australia (3), Russia, South America, and Europe, as well
as most of North America.
