visual director 8 mos. post my entry level position as a display team member. In 2008 our store was relocated
to a new 150,000+ square ft. space where my team set 18 furniture galleries including KINDEL, HICKORY
CHAIR, SLIGH, SHERRILL, HENREDON, HANCOCK&MOORE, CENTURY. As well as setting the sales
floor I consult with our buyers for purchasing current upholstery, accessories and choose custom foliage and
floral.

My main objective in this position was to display the sample floor proficiently with the numerous product
lines available to the Interior Design trade. Duties included daily inventory, receipt of new product,
setting the sample floor, and customer service plus introducing knowledge of new product to the design
trade. I was included in the selection of furniture frames, fabrics and casegoods. I completed the
sample floor layout and purchased accessories, artwork etc. to coordinate the vingettes daily.
