Employment history:

Toyota Logistics Services. Portland, OR 6/06 - 8/10

Worked the swing/night shift in the outdoors, year around. Responsibilities include shuttling cars off the

dock preparing them to be taken to the shop for customer specified installations or directly to final inspection,

to be staged in assigned area, ready for shipment out to specific destination. Trained to work in the shop as a

fill-in when needed. Installed customer specified accessories, prepared cars for fleet customers and assist on

the Lexus installation line. Was also trained and able to work in the Parts Warehouse where we picked parts

for installation, assessed inventory, put away Parts shipment, Assembled roof racks, running boards, drop

hitches and delivered them to specified station for installation. Trained on lift truck to shuttle supplies to

other warehouses.

Owens Corning Roofing Plant Portland, OR 3/04 - 6/06

Fast paced, physically demanding roofing shingle plant that produced 100’s of pallets of various color and

grade of roofing shingles per day. There are nine specific stations along a continuous production line. I was

able to operate, assist or fill in at seven of the nine positions. Main responsibilities of each station is to

ensure smooth continuous operation as the product passes through. Always watching and being aware of any

quality issues. Need to be able to recognize and assess any mechanical issues at your specific station of

operation. Also responsible for maintenance and some repairs to the machinery you are operating. Also

trained in the department of Quality Assurance. At Owens Corning I was a member of the First Responder

team. Extensively trained in lock out, tag out procedures. Took part in Kaizen sessions and was lift truck

certified.

West Linn Paper Co. West Linn, OR 3/02 - 3/04

Fast paced paper manufacturing environment, working, rotating 12 hour shifts. Trained in four out of the five

positions within my department. Also trained in Quality Assurance. Responsibilities included smooth

transition of paper product from one machine to the next with as little interruption as possible without

compromising quality. As a Helper between the Super Calendar machine (applies gloss finish to the paper)

and the Winder (cuts paper into specified widths), it is our responsibility to assist operators in smooth

transition of removing one roll of paper and splicing the new incoming role. Then assisting the Winder

operator in splicing on the new roll from the Super Calendar and moving cutting knives to customer specified

widths. Removing the rolls from the Winder and preparing them to be sent to the Wrapper Machine for final

wrapping, labeling and staging for shipment. Also responsible for taking samples to the lab and performing

testing to ensure quality of product. Other responsibilities included, general housekeeping, assisting other

areas when there is a break in the line to help to get machine up and running again, quickly. Was involved in

monthly machine inspections and maintenance. Received lift truck certification.

Wells Fargo Bank. Portland, OR 10/96 - 3/02

Worked in the International Wire Transfer Department. This is a fast paced, extremely detail oriented data

entry department that produced up to 1,000 entries per day. Responsibilities included calculating US

currency to Foreign currency. Obtaining daily International rates from colleagues in the San Francisco office.

Communicating with three Wells Fargo offices where the wire transfer orders originated from to verify

instructions. Was responsible for phone communication with customers to verify and clarify wire transfer

instructions. Occasionally would need to communicate with banking institution receiving wire transfer to

verify receipt of funds or tracing of funds.
