RACEMASTERS, INC. Web Site Administrator
2001-Present
Administrator for the web site business segment of this industry leader in
slot car manufacturing. Company started at ground zero in 2001 with a new
web site and in 2009 annual sales were over $100,000. Responsible for all
customer service duties including order taking and processing, shipping,
troubleshooting customer complaints, processing warranty claims and monthly
company shipping/sales reporting.
On average processed over 700 orders per year with an average sales order
of $143. This position required attention to detail in the processing of
the orders (part numbers and pricing) and credit card processing using a
third party virtual Gateway program.
Processed over 630 warranty/customer service inquiries in addition to the
sales orders in 2009.
Orders and customer service inquiries were received from the web site via
email and virtual phone system. Processing orders included invoicing,
credit card processing, email/phone contact with customers and arranging
all shipping from the facility within the company's 24 business hour
mandate.
Customer base was the United States, Mexico, Canada and parts of Europe
supporting them via email and telephone. Determined most efficient and cost
effective shipping method utilizing USPS or UPS domestically and
internationally.
Created invoices, warranty database and generation of monthly sales reports
in Excel.
Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate product availability on
the web site, inventory maintenance including ordering, receiving and
shipping.
Maintained all files for web site sales for the company including
invoicing, shipping, customer service and warranty.

Responsible for the administration for this advertising, public relations
and marketing firm for the off-road vehicle industry and for marketing
collateral for the slot car industry. Duties included filing, phones,
typing of quotes and company correspondence.
PACIFIC NATIONAL INSURANCE CO. Lead Rater
1984-1988
Responsible for commercial lines rating in calculating auto, general
liability and workers compensation premiums for large businesses.
Department lead who distributed daily work, training of new employees,
answer questions within the department, interact with the underwriters and
oversee the policies of new personnel. Interfaced with the home office
located in Boston and updated and maintained the correct rates in the
company's main database. Personally responsible for large policies over
$10,000.
Training of new commercial raters on the full spectrum of responsibilities
including address change, vehicle updates, policy renewals, base rate,
factor and discounts. Oversaw all preparation of policies from this
department.
