My job was to upgrade lumber when possible and supervise a 6-person team.

Summary
Over the years I have been fortunate to have worked with many different people. Some I have worked
with side by side, some have been my supervisor and some I have supervised, but all have taught me
something. Each person is different and must be treated differently, but all people should be treated as
equals and with respect. Let everyone tell their story and listen to what they say intently. Only then can
you understand this individual and their needs or what he/she has to offer.
Comments
My ability to understand people has always made my jobs easier. Always take interest in what a person
has to say. Allow a person to tell you about themselves and ask questions that show you're interested .
