Human Resources Manager
To Whom It May Concern:
I am looking for employment in an organization which I can apply/share my
professional experience and knowledge that I have gathered managing a
college department at Central New Mexico Community College. In the nearly
10 years I managed the CNM Duplicating & Postal Center, my duties and
responsibilities entailed designing, implementing and directing a
centralized duplicating and postal organization. In that role I had
responsibility for the oversight of the day to day operation for all five
campus locations, budgeting, billing, customer relations, managing and
supervising processes, negotiating and administering equipment and
maintenance contracts. Also marketing and product service development
within the departmental divisions. During my tenure at CNM, the DPC
consistently ranked among the very top departments on campus for customer
service, which has always been my top priority. At CNM, I managed a team of
nine employees whom I empowered to be forward-thinkers.
I will bring enthusiasm and leadership at any level that will allow your
division and myself to develop and grow a professional relationship that
will meet and exceed both our needs. I am currently working on dual
associate degrees at CNM, one in Integrated Studies and the other in
Business Administration. I hope to complete one degree in 2011. I have
also completed a program and received my Human Resources Certificate.
As the Manager of DPC, I developed the color copier program which averaged
over $100,000 a year of retail profit. I am excited at the prospect of
beginning a new career. My salary requirements are negotiable.
I would appreciate hearing from you so that we can set-up a time to meet
and discuss an employment opportunity that will benefit us both.
Thank you for your consideration.
