Profile
People describe me as a super upbeat worker. I am continually one of the
high performing employees at every job I have had and loved everyone I have
ever worked with. I love working with people; both customers and fellow
employees. Also, I enjoy being challenged to go above and beyond the normal
day to day tasks.
Experience
specialist, apple inc. 2008-Present
At my time at Apple I started as a full time Concierge. I was the person
who was responsible for time management on the sales floor (including
breaks, Genius Bar reservations, and Personal Training Sessions) and helped
with all the customer service issues. I learned so much from this position,
it was a challenge working with every team in the store and work with all
different types of customers, and I loved every minute. As a Concierge I
was given the opportunity to enrich someone's day with every interaction,
whether helping them with technical support, getting their Personal
Training Session setup, or simply just selling them an iPhone case. On the
flip side, I had to learn to interact with Customers who were either late
or didn't have an appointment and help find a solution that both worked for
them, and fit into our schedule. As of January 2010 the Concierge position
was merged with the Specialist or salesman position. I admit at the time I
was not pleased but like always I made the best of it and learned to adapt
and be fast on my toes. Over time I have become one of the top performing
Specialist's at my store and am continually challenged in ways I would
never thought of before. Slowly my job within the store has shifted, I am
now responsible for employees breaks, the flow of the store, positioning
Specialists in key and high profile sections of the floor, and writing the
daily schedule. It has been a huge learning experience at Apple, and I have
loved working for such and amazing company. Being the person who puts the
new Apple product in someones hands and change they way they used computers
forever is an amazing feeling; one that I will never forget.
barista, starbucks lake forest, ca 2007-2008
It was at Starbucks where I learned how to please a customer no matter the
situation. The standards Starbucks has for "just a cup of coffee" helped
me transition into the high standards of Apple. Not only was I making
coffee, but I learned quite a bit about customer service, and how to
approach all sorts of situations with customers. It is widely known the
caliber of people that go to Starbucks, especially in Orange County, CA;
dealing with them first hand was a great learning experience for me.
sales, tilly's laguna niguel, ca 2006-2007
My job at Tilly's was an easy one. I worked half my shifts on the floor
straightening hangers and letting customers in the dressing rooms and the
other half as a cashier. In both positions I learned to keep the store
clean and tidy as well as how to deal with people.
barista, choco bean mission viejo, ca 2004-2005
Being my first job, Choco Bean really taught me the basics. Ringing out
customers, interaction with management and coworkers, how to properly
address people that were upset, and finally how to make coffee. I always
worked the closing shift so most of my duties were cleaning and setting up
for the next day. This was the first real taste of responsibility, having
to juggle homework, my job and a social life during my senior year of high
school. It was a good learning experience.

Skills
Due to mostly having retail as my background, I am very quick on my feet,
helping to find answers and solutions to someone's problem, and making sure
they are comfortable with what I find. I hold myself to very high
standards, and always try to go above and beyond the call of duty no matter
the situation. Naturally, I am very comfortable on computers, both Mac and
PC. But above all I think my biggest strength is my general people skills.
I make it a point to both get along with, and learn from everyone I can.
Learning these skills is what I think has gotten me so far in both my
professional and personal life.
