Recognized market opportunity to start new, full-service community bank,
and grew bank from startup to $150 million assets. Responsible for
commercial loans, cash management, wealth management, and private banking.

to form new bank, secure franchise, and to raise capital to build bank.
. Grew commercial portfolio from start-up to $65 million.
. Established asset-based lending program that enhanced bank return in

. Installed Sage Works, an Internet-based suite of applications that

member of Executive Committee, consolidating ten locations into five.

portfolio.
. Established policies and procedures for new entity, and for five other
banks under Bank One banner.
. Grew commercial portfolio from $25 million to $40 million.
MARINE BANK OF WAUKESHA COUNTY

Commercial Banker 1984 to 1990
Assumed leadership role in commercial lending for this new, $350 million
bank, following merger of First National Bank of Waukesha and Marine Bank.
Responsible for commercial loans, cash management, wealth management, and
private banking.
. Served as member of strategic consolidation committee, which divided
portfolio and calling responsibilities, consolidated 21 offices, and
orchestrated merger of middle and upper management.
. Grew commercial portfolio from $12 million to $25 million.
. Developed automated financial management spreadsheet program, prior to
advent of Microsoft Office programs. Used program as part of consulting
and advisory roles in organization to expand new and existing
relationships. Recognized as only program of its kind at that time.
. Led financing of Lot 1 Block 1, a former county dump, leading to New
Berlin's premier commercial and warehouse development, with nine
properties and over 100,000 square feet of development.
. Prospected commercial loans, serviced cash management, and sold trust
