Maintain and improve the R&D satellite. The site consisted of two teams with
different security and facilities needs with a total of 30-60 in-house employees
and 5-10 rotational employees from offices around the world.
Find and hire vendors (including kitchen/office suppliers, construction contractors,
vending and temp services). Work with legal team to create contracts and enter
them into Oracle.
All shipping and receiving using Fedex, UPS, DHL and USPS. All receiving was
entered into Oracle and I kept an audit trail and followed up on all shipments.
Greet and direct all internal and external guests including visiting customers and
interview candidates.
Prepare and schedule conference rooms for meetings and presentations including
setting up AV equipment and catering as needed
Reception of all visitors: offering refreshments, recommending local events, tour of
the facility, creation of a Welcome Packet which included local hotels/restaurants,
information about the company and facility, and tourist attractions
Maintaining the kitchen including rotating items seasonally and maintenance of the
