Participate in activities involved with procuring goods and services such
as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for organization.
Cost estimating on lead time components . Verfied approved manufactures
for customers approved suppliers list. Maintain and expedite component
shortages. Interface with production on shortage requirements. Component
research at incoming for approval . Estimates values according to knowledge
of market price. Generates purchase orders in a timely manner with
vendors. Maintains inventory control and warehouse stock. Initiates the
quoting process, recommends supplier selection and quantities to order
based on historical usage. Maintains all department paper and electronic
files, generates reports and assists in the PO/Invoice reconciliation.
Monitors various stock items, including consignment tickets, recommending

Excellent Excel tracking capability, communication skills, understanding of
components and suppliers, experience working with contract manufacturers
for printed circuit board assembly. Experience managing buying for
electronic components and working with distribution of electronic
components is ideal. Manage daily purchasing process from order through
receipt. Support salespeople with quotes and information. Strong attention
to detail, well organized and a self starter.. Works with Inspection and
Accounting groups in returning any discrepant material to suppliers.
Communicates with production and production control analysts regarding
status of purchases orders and any changes. Creates and maintains vendor
lists and information as necessary. Keeps internal customers informed of
