Responsible for supervision of up to 136 inmates located within regular population dorms with a
ratio of inmates of 136 inmates per officer. Armed transport of inmates to court or outside facility
hospital appointments. Armed roving outside of facility. Supervision of inmates located within

Responsible for completion of BLET, a four month long training program for police officers, sheriff’s
deputies, and park rangers.
1998-2008 Transportation Manager Corporate Express, a Staples Co. Henderson, NC
Managed day to day delivery operations for distribution center in which was made up of territory in
the states of Va, NC, and SC and averaged 170MM in annual sales. Responsible for eight
supervisors and over one hundred hourly employees. Responsible for achievement of daily delivery
metrics and compliance with all DOT and OSHA rules and regulations. Responsible for building
operations and maintenance for hub locations located in the cities of Chesapeake Va, Richmond
Va, Greensboro NC, Arden NC, Fayetteville NC, Goldsboro NC, Wilmington NC, Greer SC,
Columbia SC, and Charleston SC. Member of Distribution Center’s safety team, management team,
