2005 spring-Graduated from King William High and received an Advanced Diploma

2005 fall – 2010 summer-Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Psychology and Sociology with a

minor in Women’s Studies. I received both of my bachelor degrees on August 21, 2010.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Lowes, Henrico, Virginia: Customer Sales Associate/ Paint Department/Stock

March 2010 to June 2010, CSA: As an employee of Lowes, my job was to ensure that the customers get

the right materials that they came for. I assist them with choosing the proper paint for their projects that

they are working on and I mix the paint to ensure that they have the color that they want. Additional to

this task, I stock the paint department’s shelves whenever we are low on products or whenever we run out

of products.

Bass Pro Shop, Ashland, Virginia: Host

September 2008 to April 2009- Host: As an employee at Bass Pro Shops, my job was to greet and seat

the guests. Other tasks accompanied this job because I also had to make sure the guests were happy

before they were seated and after they left the restaurant. Communication is a big key when interacting

with other people.

Sears Portrait Studios, Richmond, Virginia: Sales Associate

November 2007 to January 2008- I was a seasonal worker for the Christmas season. As a sales

associate, my job consisted of putting in and delivering orders to the customers. I also worked with

money by receiving and making change for customers. I assisted customers with whatever they needed to

make their visit to our store as pleasant as possible. Being an employee at Sears has enhanced my

communication skills while making me a more organized and patient person.

Volunteer/Community Service, Bon Secours Memorial Regional: Volunteer

February 2010 to Present: I started out with just assisting the patients by discharging them or delivering

items to their rooms such as flowers or mail. I eventually moved over to the endoscopy unit and started

volunteering there. My duties consisted of helping the patients get ready for their examination and then

discharging the patients.
