Provide HR leadership, strategy development, execution and business
partnership to senior leaders for Global Facilities Services (GFS),
Global Engineering Services (GES) and Corporate Real Estate (CRE), and
NJ/CT Regional Facilities Services (WCNJO). Integration of acquisitions
in to GFS, GES and CRE. Responsible for employee relations for
manufacturing operations in both union and non-union settings. Led and
developed strategy for, contract negotiations, grievance and arbitration
process that led to significant corporate strategy shift, cost
reductions, head count reductions and productivity improvements. Regional
Client group support for Technical Operations for Asia - 07 and Latin
America Drug Product Packaging Operations in 07-09. Managed global
leadership development program for key talent.
. Strategic HR lead for Global Facilities Services outsourcing effort,
first of it's kind in pharma - 24 sites in 7 countries, resulting in a
Global Facilities organization with year over year savings of $25mm
and five year contract in excess of $500mm. HR lead for Organization
design. Developed and led communications and change management teams.
. Led organization redesign for GES, NJ Regional Facilities Services and
Global EHS Operations. To date efforts have resulted in staffing
reductions in excess of 50% without service interruption.
. Developed and executed new Labor Relations strategy for BMS. This was
a significant shift from historical conservative focus. Drove and
gained alignment from Presidents of R&D and Tech Ops as well as
Executive VP of HR. Strategy was approved by CEO Results:
o Led successful union negotiations in 2006. Estimated savings of
$5.2 million over the life of the contract on an employee base
of 420. The contract was overwhelmingly approved by the union
employees.
o Led and developed strategy for, 2010 contract negotiations,
grievance and arbitration process that led to significant cost
reductions including pension elimination, wage freeze, and
outsourcing of over 1/3 of the union workforce without a work
stoppage. Saving in excess of $10mm.
. Human Resources lead for Latin America manufacturing consolidation and
shut down of 3 of 4 plants.
. Improved quality and focus of Leadership Development program. Improved
rotations, understanding of program for sites and satisfaction of
participants. The program is now seen as best in class @ BMS.

. Reduced Workers Compensation costs for the S. Deerfield location by
over 50% and reduced OSHA incident rate from 24.5 to less than 6 in 3
years.

company, and improved employee relations in both union and non-union

. Developed, implemented and managed Co-Op program. Effective use of
