AT&T (Southwestern Bell Telephone) Tulsa, OK - April 25, 2008 to
September 4, 2009.
Uverse Premises Technician
Installed and repaired Uverse TV, Internet, and VOIP service in customer's
homes. Installed new coax and/or CAT 5 cable, or used existing coax or CAT
5 to install service. Interfaced customer televisions, computers, sound
equipment and telephone equipment with residential gateway and set top
devices. Instructed customers in use and features of system.
Cable Splicing Technician
Worked on First Mile project, getting copper cable pairs ready for digital
TV and internet service. Formally trained in cable splicing. Located and
re-spliced defective pairs in ground and aerial terminals. Replaced aerial
or ground terminals, using bucket trucks or ladders when needed. Some
experience with Davar testing equipment. Forced out of position 12-27-09,
due to lay-offs of Senior Cable Splicers, and offered position as Uverse
Premise Technician.
Customer Services Technician
Formally trained in pole climbing, ladder and equipment safety, and bucket
truck certified. Installed and repaired basic telephone service, providing
dial tone to customer homes and businesses. Isolated and repaired trouble
on F1 and F2 copper cable segments and identified and replaced defective
drop wires, both aerial and buried. Responsible for proper use and care of
company vehicles. Position changed to Cable Splicing Technician in august
2008 due to volunteering for 1st mile project.

Maintenance and Repairs
Duties were maintaining rental properties and grounds, making necessary
repairs, showing homes to prospective tenants in Northwest Arkansas area,
and checking tenants in and out of homes.
AT&T (Southwestern Bell Telephone) Rogers, AR - December 2000 to June
2006.
Communications Technician
Duties were installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications
equipment in the Central Office. This included fiber optic multiplexers,
T1, DS0, DS1, DS3, Mainframe, DSL, some 5ess switch, and conventional
telephone service. Also responsible for maintaining wet-cell battery power
plant, rectifiers, and 500kw emergency generator. Formally trained and
experienced in fiber optics, sonet, digital and analog circuits, Fujitsu
ADM, FLM 150, 600, 2400, and Tellabs Titan DCS. Experienced with D4,
repeaters, Flashwave 4300, 4800, Lucent Pairgain, Litespan 2000 DPG, Fiber
Jumper Panels, and Fiber rings OC3 to OC48. Experienced with Tberd test
equipment, and B8zs, Ami, and C-bit formats.

Traveled to customer locations, and maintained, installed, and repaired
copy systems. Provided courteous and professional service.

Field Engineer
Large International Company; Leader in Dictation Systems. Also major
supplier of Copy Systems, Fax, Word Proccessing and Business Telephone
Systems. Worked seven years out of the Little Rock, AR office, traveling

Maintenance Worker
