Director
Pre opening, created a strong client base for groups and special events
prior to opening in June 2006. In first three months of business special
events and group department created $170,000 in revenue. Sales Manger was
responsible for advertising, marketing and Group and Corporate events. 350
seat restaurant with private dining area. Responsibilities were to create
concierge, group sales, time shares and convention group sales. Strong
leadership and interpersonal skills required.
10/2003 - 12/2005 - V THEATER AND EVENT CENTER - Director of Sales
In 2003 the V Theater formally the Ovation Theater located in the Desert
Passage at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino, was taken out of bankruptcy by
Martin Harris Construction. The Ovation Theater opened in 2003 as a 500
seat theater, restaurant and special event center. The Director of Sales
was responsible for contracting ticket brokers, Concierge referrals, group
sales, corporate events, buyouts, night club events, showroom management
and staffing.
Director of Sales accomplished the following:
* Group Sales - increased revenue by 60% of goals and objectives.
* Asian Market Sales - tour and travel groups
* Corporate Buyouts
* Nightclub and entertainment: Clients include but not limited to: Golden

4/2001 - 10/25/2001: PALMS CASINO RESORT - Sales Manager
Pre-opening - developed and created all Wholesale and FIT contracts.
Territory included leisure sales Worldwide and Corporate sales for Eastern
United States. Extensive travel; trade shows and conventions, sales calls,
and client visitations.
$500,000 in sales prior to hotel's opening. National and international
sales marketing programs developed to insure hotels full utilization.
Reason for leaving: My mother developed a terminal illness and I stopped
working to take care of her.
7/1998 - 4/2001: RIVIERA HOTEL AND CASINO - Sales Manager
Sales Manager; Tour and Travel. 22 wholesale accounts and FIT contracts
and all aspects of leisure sales; including site inspections, negotiation
of group rates and contracts. Global traveling to support hotel's sales
mission. Responsible for all wholesale requests and internet updates on
rates and specials.

7/1997 - 7/1998: UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA/LAS VEGAS - Management Assistant
To the Chair of the Department of Film. Responsible for all student
orientation, course schedules, budgeting, registration, student work study
(including internships and placement on many major movies on location in
Nevada). Consulted with International and national film distributors to
obtain films for festivals in Las Vegas area. Consulted with national and
local press for fundraising and publicity for the department of film.

other local organizations.
