Professional Experience

Electrical Section Coordinator 2007 - present

The Way International-New Knoxville, Ohio

The Way International is a Biblical Research, Teaching and Fellowship

Ministry headquartered in rural Ohio. This 300- plus acre location includes

a 1300 seat auditorium with a full production stage, a 2-story 120,000

square foot office building and warehouse, a 3-story dormitory containing

100 rooms, and over 20 prefabricated homes and permanent trailers for staff

housing. As well, the site boasts its own water wastewater treatment plant

and self-reliant well system. The primary feed from the utility comes in as

12.47kV and is stepped down to 480 or 240V.

Accomplishments:

. Effectively maintained, serviced, and or fabricated all of the

electrical primary and secondary system needs including 10 standby

generators ranging from 20kw-350kw

. Installed automatic and manual transfer switches, and TVSS systems for

all major services

. Converted HID lighting to fluorescent and coordinated the T12 to T8

lighting retrofit

. Completed all service requests including, locating and tracing

underground utilities, repair and/or replacement of lamps, ballast,

motors, switches, receptacles, etc.

. Requisitioned and inventoried all electrical parts and tools

. Successfully budgeted and managed electrical section finances and cut

expenses by 6%

. Administrated all paperwork pertaining to section utilizing MS Word,

Word Perfect, and Excel

. Drafted multiple proposals to Board of Directors for project approvals

. Oversight of others, communicating with multiple departments, clients,

vendors, and contractors

. Instructed safety in the workplace eg. Lock-out tagout, boom lift, arc

flash, and qualified persons

. On call 24 hours for power outages and emergencies
