( Part of team involved in development of Seat Renewal/Relocation
system designed for The Miami HEAT Season
ticket holders to renew their season tickets online.
- This ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) system helps season ticket holders to choose a
combination of good seats at selected
price using various filters (Section, Row, Number of consecutive
seats) and finalize the purchase of new
season tickets.
- Developed WCF web service (.NET 3.5) for user logins, price/seats
lookup, seat booking, payment
processing. The Web service was consumed by web-based
ASP.NET application
- Implemented AJAX controls from AJAX control toolkit like
UpdatePanel, Calendar Extender, etc.
- Involved in SQL Server 2000 Database design starting from creating
tables, writing stored procedure/inline
queries, Indexes, generating views for reports and database
maintenance.
- A Nightly Windows Service (C#) processes all the orders for the day
and updated Ticketmaster's database.
This windows service would also send confirmation e-mails to
customers, credit card denial notifications,
status updates of already in-process orders.
- Developed Reports using Reporting Services for senior staff to
monitor the progress of the relocation/renewal
process.
- Developed DTS Packages to import data from TicketMaster's Database
into Miami HEAT's internal Database.
- Developed a XML parser application to automatically import
inventory received in XML format.
( Part of team involved in development of an internal financial
management system for the HEAT Group for
creating Purchase Orders which can be reviewed and approved by
managers.
- First phase involved developing application to allow users from
various departments to generate Purchase Orders which can then be
forwarded for approvals and tracked using the application.

o Developed Windows Forms (C#) based Shore Excursion booking engine
application with Oracle 9.1 as the database.
o Application had to be integrated with web services designed by the ESB
Team.
o A Web-based interface was provided in ASP.NET 2.0 to run reports and
keep track of bookings.
o The application involved development of various custom controls in C#.
( Performed SQL Query performance tuning for various slow and time

- The credit simulator uses C Code to communicate between the cash
register and the host using sockets.
