As an Administrative Assistant, my duties are data entry of the Pickup and Delivery results for the Helena Terminal
during the current day. Administrative Assistant – FedEx Ground
This includes entering driver settlements to ensure the drivers get paid properly, entering the number of packages
delivered during the day, entering the number of packages picked up during the day, and entering data pertaining to

the efficacy of the terminal for the day. I also act as the Service Manager during times when the current Service
Manager is unable to be present. This requires me to manage two Package Handlers during the Evening Sort and
ensure the terminal is secured at the end of the day. On occasion, I must also perform the duties of a Package
Handler.
My duties as a Biological Assistant are to control the cultivation, spread, and distribution of noxious weeds and their
seeds in the Helena National Forest and the Lewis and Clark National Forest. This is done primarily through the use

of herbicides though some biological control is used. The use of herbicides requires me to be a certified applicator of
restricted use pesticides. I am required to know the noxious weeds in all stages of growth, know which pesticide will
kill the weed, and know the proper rate at which to apply the chemical in order to allow native vegetation to survive.
I am required to use an F 550 pickup while operating the spray valves and identifying weeds. I have also been
assigned duties of building a spray system for a Universal Terrain Vehicle which required me to design a system that
would fit into the given space with the proper components to have a working spray system and wiring the electrical
components for the sprayer.
09/2008– 08/2009
As a Package Handler, I was required to unload pickups from the delivery vans and load them onto the proper trailer

for their destination. This involved lifting package that could have weighed as much as 150 pounds and repeated
lifting of package that averaged 10 pounds. I was also required to perform audits daily on the undeliverable
packages for the day and enter some packages into a system designed to track packaged for customers. Towards the
end of this position, I was also required to perform the duties of an Administrative Assistant.
